A potter takes a lump of clay and forms it
into the vision of his mind. Even so when
we are born, those into whose hands we
are placed endeavor to conform us into the
pattern of their lives.
As we mature, we must decide to whom
we will submit—those surrounding us, or
to the One who created us to be re-formed
according to His matchless vision.
A partial commitment to Him will not allow
His perfect workmanship to be displayed.
He who intricately formed us in the womb
(without outside interference), would now
desire to finish His work in our daily living.
In whom will we place our complete trust
to conform us day by day–the surrounding
culture following their own invented way
or the magnificent love and unquestionable
wisdom of Our Heavenly Father who has
had His vision for our lives from eternity?
(Prayer)
May we not take lightly the choice of to
whom we will yield our one earthly life.
Romans 12:2
“And do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed
by the renewing of your mind,
that you may prove what is that good
and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
