The Bible tells the story of Esther whose life
seemed quite obscure—she was one of the Jews
who dwelt in a foreign land where they had been
taken captive. Her parents had died–a relative
(Mordecai) was her guardian.
Even though she was beautiful, I do not think
she envisioned what was going to transpire in
her life. Through a long series of circumstances–
the king (not acquainted with her heritage) chose
her to be his queen. Esther must have thought
this was her ultimate calling!
However, a time came when her people were
designated for destruction and another calling
became clear—Even in the face of death, she
must disclose her identity and plead for the lives
of her people—this was her Kingdom Purpose!
We must understand that the call of God on our
own lives is not only to become His bride but also
to fulfill the purpose for which The King has
brought us into His Kingdom—we are His
ambassadors to go and come at His bidding–
allowing Him to manifest His Kingdom Purpose
in and through us!
(Prayer)
May we represent You, The King, as You have
ordained us individually to do so!
Hebrews 12:28
“Therefore, since we are receiving a Kingdom
which cannot be shaken, let us have grace,
by which we may serve God acceptably
with reverence and godly fear.”
