Jesus’ instruction to his disciples who
requested He teach them to pray—was to
ask for His Kingdom to come and His will
to be done in earth as it is in heaven.
In our times of prayer, many petitions are
made with the request that the will of the
Lord be done, however, God has ordained
that by His Spirit deposited in us, we can
also be partakers with Him in specifically
proclaiming His will—such as “speak to the
mountain”—but how do we know His will?
Do we stop to consider the answer to that
question? Many times the knowledge of
His will would come to us by considering
His character and His Word–and by asking
ourselves—“What would please God?”
To have the knowledge of His will–ignites
faith in us to specifically proclaim His will
in our prayers and expect the result! We
are in the world at this time to further the
current purpose of God in this generation:
in families–in culture—in government—
in nations! His plan for us reaches beyond
our own selves!
(Prayer)
Lord, We seek the knowledge of Your will–
to declare in agreement with You what
You want done in earth at this time.
Colossians 1:9
“…that you may be filled
with the knowledge of His will
in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;”
