Being rejected or chosen can create opposite
reactions of either sadness or joy–grief or
exuberance.
Sometimes the circumstance is dependent
upon the actions of others and at times it is
related to what we ourselves have or have
not done.
However in the Spiritual realm God has
graciously given us the opportunity to choose.
It is a choice that no one can take from us!
To purchase this marvelous opportunity, Jesus
offered himself to be rejected and He carried
the associated grief.
Now when we choose His love—it does not
matter who else might reject us because–
WE ARE CHOSEN BY HIM!
(Prayer)
May this be our highest priority–to be chosen by
the One who loves us the most!
Isaiah 53:3-5
“He is despised and rejected by men, A man of
sorrows and acquainted with grief… Surely He
has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows…
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.”
