Apostle John tells us “…the Word was with God,
and the Word was God…All things were made
through Him…in Him was life and the life was
the light of men…And the Word became flesh
and dwelt among us, and we beheld His Glory…
full of grace and truth.”
The All Powerful, Almighty Creator of the
Universe, the Author of life and light, the One
made flesh who walked the earth—is He content
to be portrayed as a dignified quiet observer of a
ritualistic, man-made form from people who do
not expect Him to respond in any dramatic way
to what they call worship–or does He long to
manifest His Magnificent Glory to them?
In the Bible account of the inauguration of the
Church—there was a sound of a mighty rushing
wind with fire appearing on the heads of those
present as they began to speak languages they
had never learned–and 3,000 people were added
to the Church!
Signs, wonders, and miracles followed with the
manifestation of the living God among them
and soon 5,000 more were converted! When God
is really present—we can behold His Glory!
Are we satisfied with the present form and results
of “our worship”? Or, more importantly, is God
satisfied being “held at bay” while we perform?
(Prayer)
Oh God, May we seek to please you!
John 4:23,24
“But the hour is coming, and now is,
when the true worshipers
will worship the Father in spirit and truth;
for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him
must worship in spirit and in truth.”
