The prelude comes before the main event—That
makes this realm in which we dwell the prelude
to what is to come!
And yet (if we do not stop to consider) we are
tempted to invest more in this life than in the
one for which we were born!
What is more important—the blueprint or
the house, conception or birth, the rehearsal
or the wedding. In each case both are needed,
as that is how the out-come is determined!
The Word of God teaches us that this earthly
life is a precursor (a forerunner—a predecessor)
of that which is to come. We have little time to
prepare (perhaps a hundred years)–and eternity
to experience the benefits of our preparation!
Consider this– we must become acquainted with
The Master of Eternal Life! Will we spend our
100 years (or less) absorbed with ourselves in
This Prelude–or seek to experience more and
more of the Presence of our Eternal Bridegroom!
(Prayer)
Oh God, There is nothing that could be more
awesome for me than Your Presence both
now and in Eternity!
Acts 2:28
“You have made known to me the ways of life;
You will make me full of joy in Your presence.”
