A steward is one put in charge of another’s
possessions–not to do his own will, but to
dedicate himself to the fulfillment of his
master’s plan.
Many feel our reason for living is to pursue
our own desires and accomplish what we
want to become.
However, our life and abilities have come
from Another–whose design for each of us
is much higher than we could ever attain!
The adversary would say our plan is more
enjoyable—but no one can supersede the
righteousness, peace and joy (for now and
eternity) that God has appointed for those
who pursue faithful stewardship of His gifts
entrusted to us!
(Prayer)
May faithful stewardship be our highest aim!
Luke 12:42,43
And the Lord said, “Who than is that faithful
and wise steward, whom his master will
make ruler over his household, to give them
their portion of food in due season?
Blessed is that servant whom his master
will find so doing when he comes.”
