After Jesus’ baptism, the devil offered Him all the
kingdoms of this world if He would worship him.
However, the inheritance of the kingdoms already
belonged to the Lord!
The Psalmist (24:1) tells us:
“The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein.”
All of us have been given a few years in which to
choose how we will relate to God. Because of this
liberty, many feel they are the ones in control and
set about to do whatever they desire.
Some ignore their Creator altogether. Others
attempt to give Him what they feel is the minimum
space in their lives that will secure their eternity.
They do not realize He is the Only One capable of
successfully controlling who we are and will be
There is no life as great as living in communication
with and complete reliance upon the Master of us
all. He knows (without a doubt) of what life
should consist and how it can be lived to the fullest!
Oh Lord, May we commit our total living unto You
with Confidence and Joy!
“How great are His signs,
And how mighty His wonders!
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And His dominion is from generation to generation.”
