We would not consider the circumstances
surrounding Jesus’ birth ideal. It was time
for the people to register and the tax money
could not be mailed in. Neither would they
be able to catch the next plane to return to
their birth place for the registration.
After a long arduous trip on foot or donkey,
they found the inns crowded and probably
higher in price than usual. Who knows if even
Joseph was charged for the stable where he
took Mary?
Not many people were thinking—“What is
God doing in the midst of all this and in
what form might He manifest among us?”
The angel in the heavens shouted to the
shepherds—“Behold…” They listened to the
good tidings and found their Savior—Christ
the Lord… lying in a manger…right in the
midst of Bethlehem’s chaotic atmosphere!
Could we at this time—in the midst of the
circumstances of our lives…our Nation…even
of the world–recognize the Form of God
that is being manifested among us?

Lord, May we behold and rejoice that You are
superseding the ability of men and demons
to control the earth!
Hebrews 12:22-24
“…you have come to Mount Zion…the city of
the living God…the heavenly Jerusalem…an
innumerable company of angels…church of
the first born who are registered in heaven…
to God the Judge of all…to the spirits of just
men made perfect……to Jesus…”
