The in filling of the Holy Spirit is more than
a cloud of God’s Presence or a special feeling
of His nearness. Jesus promised He would
not leave us orphans but HE WOULD COME
and we would be His temple–and when He
comes He does not leave His power behind!
He said it was necessary for Him to go away
so His Spirit could come, and as such, He has
multiplied Himself through His people as His
dwelling place in the earth!
He does not dwell unconsciously in us but
is well acquainted with our thoughts, words,
feelings, and all our ways—He knows us!
There is nothing in us hidden from Him!
We need to realize that to be filled with His
Spirit brings this tremendous Treasure into
our earthen vessels with His ability to know
us completely—speaking, guiding, and also
empowering us to accomplish that which He
has designed for us to be and to do!

Lord, May we not hold You hostage to just
what we could accomplish in our own
humanity—You desire to do much more than
that by the manifestation through us of the
great power of Your Spirit!

give the light of the knowledge of the glory of

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels,
that the excellence of the power may be of God
