When Jesus began His time of earthly Ministry–
He called forth people to ”follow Him”. To some
that meant a complete change of occupation—
to others a radical change of lifestyle.
Even though Jesus is not among us in His flesh—
the call by His Spirit is still the same—“Follow
Me”! Was it easier to follow Jesus in the flesh
than it is to follow Him in the Spirit? At least
then He could be literally seen!
Sometimes we search in our minds “to see”
where He is and what path He has laid out for
us. The fact is—by His Spirit He is not far off
but right where we are!
When we recognize His closeness and the fact He
has promised never to leave us—we can then “feel
after Him” and find Him!
When we realize He is always near enough to hear
our voice— we can have confidence to commune
with Him—to expect His Divine Guidance-and
with confidence respond—
to His comforting invitation—“FOLLOW ME”!
