We do not live to ourselves—the human
heart intertwines itself to one thing or
another until a bonding occurs.
Some interweave their lives in an extremely
busy lifestyle or are greatly influenced by
surrounding culture. Their lives become
entrapped in something beyond themselves.
The fact is—we were not created to function
alone. Even Jesus said the works He did
proceeded from the Father that dwelt in Him
and His prayer was that we would be one as
He and the Father were one.
The question is—from where do our works
proceed–with whom or what are we inter-
twined
Jesus said He would be in us a well of living
water springing up into everlasting life–in
Him we could live, move and have our being.
The choice is ours, but the results come—
from our attachment!

God, May we have no substitute for You
–intertwined in our total living!
