Jacob wrestled with God to obtain favor
with his brother. It lasted through a whole
night until Jacob cried out–not just for his
own will to be done, but for the necessity
of the blessing of God to be imparted in
his entire life!
God has ordained for His people to have
a very close daily relationship with Him,
however, there are many hindrances in
our lives that place a “cap” over the place
in our innermost being that should be only
reserved for Him!
He would take us to realms of Glory and
beautify our living with His marvelous
fruitfulness–if we would tarry long enough
in His Presence (without the distractions of
surrounding things) –“un-capped” under
the outpouring of His Spirit!
How often do we cry out for what we want
to happen in our lives, without taking into
consideration what He wants to pour into
our innermost being? He would be The
Skillful Gardener of our lives if we would
give Him time to prune and water us.
The beauty that He can bring forth cannot
be accomplished–until the entrance to our
“garden” is un-capped and we allow Him
access to work HIS SKILL!
Philippians 1:9
“And this I pray…That you may approve
the things that are excellent…being filled
with the fruits of righteousness which are
by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of
God.”
