Many people are very adamant about
being their own guides and doing only
what they want to do– not realizing the
ability to do so successfully was not
created in them!
Our lives really are not our own. God
formed us in the womb, but did not give
us the ability to direct our own steps.
He designed us to pursue His ways and
develop a Loving Intimate Relationship
with Him—Our Creator—Our Guide—
The One who loves us more than anyone
else could ever do so.
He calls us the “sheep” of His pasture,
and wants to be Our Caring Shepherd—
never leaving us alone and always able
to intervene in our dilemmas!
The Bible teaches us that to build our
lives on Him is like building on “Rock”—
but not to do so is having a foundation
of crumbling “sand”!
