Near the end of Jesus’ ministry on earth, He
told His followers He would be put to death
–but would rise again! His disciples could
not fathom He would die–nor need to be
resurrected!
When this transpired, they sought for Him–
not among the living–but among the dead!
Their faith did not encompass His ways nor
His power!
Many of us–who are present day followers
of The Lord—also do not take into account
His greatness in and around us! Do we have
the realization of The Lord in His Power and
Glory being in the same room where we are
or do we envision Him only in the High
Heaven?
What captures our hearts—the things we
have, need, and want– or the Majestic
Almighty God in whom we live, move and
have our being–Who desires to manifest His
life-giving Power to us daily?

Thank you, Lord, for giving us the consciousness
of Your close Presence—the Source of all we need!
