It seems in every human being there is a
longing for something beyond the plateau
where he or she now stands. Relationships,
pleasures, careers, fame, fortune, locations–
every imaginable thing is tried to satisfy this
strong desire.
And yet—the satisfaction that seems to
surface for a short season gives way again
to the longing! What is it we seek—what
do we long for?
We need to realize we were created by God—
to be a temple saturated with His Abundant
Presence! Anything less than this fullness for
which we exist–will leave us always longing
for something beyond what we have tried.
To be completely satisfied is not just to taste
of Him–but to live full of His Spirit and His
purpose! His Presence just on the sidelines
of a crowded life is not enough! He desires to
fill to capacity with the abundance of His Spirit
the longing in each of us for more than we can
produce!

God, May we never think we can find some-
thing else to fill the space you created just for
Your Presence!
