All through the Bible God was not
silent but communicated in one way
or another with His people—and He
has not stopped talking!
The question is—“Are we expecting to
hear “His Voice”? Do we take time to
listen for His thoughts in our minds
and are we searching the Scriptures
to learn His ways!
Are the prayers we pray just our
words to Him without meditating on
what He would respond to our hearts
or minds?
Let us not do all the talking, but take
time to contemplate on what God is
responding to us in return. If we
are going to be led by His Spirit as He
has promised to do—we must pay
attention to His Guiding Voice!

Lord, We do not want to be deaf to
Your communication with us!
Psalm 85:8
