Israel was placed in a land surrounded by idol
worshippers–not to be conformed to their
idolatry but to manifest the true God to those
who did not know Him!
Even so, we ourselves are immersed in a culture
of unrighteousness that is endeavoring to mold
us into their likeness–but we must be Light in
their darkness! As followers of The Lord Jesus,
we cannot compromise our manner of living!
We must know what is righteous in the sight
of God for us and our children—and clearly
model that lifestyle as God’s guide for those
who are lost in a maze of unrighteousness!
This is God’s assignment for us in the midst of
a godless generation. We are not here just for
ourselves and are not called to “ride the fence”
between righteousness and unrighteousness!
Is the Lord’s Light in us bright enough to guide
the lost in the path that leads to eternal life?
And– to whom are we daily committing our
inexperienced children—
for instruction in how life must be lived?
WHO WILL FOLLOW WHO???

Lord, May we invest in people (who are eternal)
rather than possessions (that are fleeting)!
