There is One with whom we have to deal—
(not just once—but continually)! He is The
One who is our life—The Lord Jesus! Some
may think they can ignore Him, but He holds
our heart beat and breath in His hands!
Others acknowledge Him for various reasons:
provisions, happy living, escape from the
opposite of eternal life, a fabulous mansion
in the eternal realm, etc.
Let us consider: What is the viewpoint of Him
who is our Creator? Is He content only to be
A Benevolent Provider of more things for our
earthly consumption or as An Initiator of happy
days? Does He just want to be The Architect
of a heavenly estate for us?
When we first make our acquaintance with
Him, is it enough to have us unload all our
sins at His feet and then leave to fulfill our
own pursuit of life–or does He have something
more in mind?
The fact is, God created mankind for daily
companionship with Him—a love relationship
that He calls “His bride”– (those who will listen
with their hearts to His words and respond to
Him)! His benefits are marvelous, but to those
who love Him—He is more precious than that!

May we respond to His invitation:
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock.
If anyone hears My voice and opens the door,
I will come in to him and dine with him,
and he with Me.” (Rev. 3:20)
2 Corinthians 6:16
“And what agreement has the temple of God
with idols? For you are the temple of the living
God. As God has said: I will dwell in them and
walk among them. I will be their God,
and they shall be My people.”
