The Scriptures say we live, move and have our
being in God– that He is not far from everyone
of us. Nevertheless, that does not mean much
time is devoted specifically to Him in the midst
of our busy schedules!
Even though we are literally surrounded by God,
He waits for us to acknowledge His closeness and
to approach Him with our words and expectation
to hear His Voice through the thoughts He would
speak to our minds. He wants us to bask in each
other’s love and for us to know His heart’s desire
for our total living!
Usually God does not interrupt our scheduled lives
to get a little more attention from us. His creation
faithfully shows us His love both day and night,
and His Death, Burial, and Resurrection prove more
is available in this life and also the next—than we
can produce without Him.
He created us to be conscious of His closeness, and
to commune daily with Him so all our living will be
influenced by His Intense Companionship!
LET US APPROACH HIS PRESENCE!
(Prayer)
Lord, May we realize the difference
between the temporary and the eternal!
Matthew 13:45,46
“…the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant
seeking beautiful pearls who,
when he had found one pearl of great price,
went and sold all that he had and bought it.”
