A door presents an opportunity as an entrance
into a place where we do not presently stand—
or for someone to approach us from beyond our
present location.
At the conclusion of the Bible, the Apostle John,
in a message from the Lord to one church said,
“I have set before you an open door…”, but to
another church the words were “Behold, I stand
at the door and knock…”
The Lord is giving the Present Day Church (and
us individually) an awesome opportunity to
choose a Life-giving Love Relationship with Him
for now and eternity! Are we willing to open the
door–allowing His Spirit complete access to all
we are and to our manner of worship?
If we seek to be acquainted with Him (intimately–
not casually), He places before us an open door!
If not– He stands at the door and knocks!
(Prayer)
Lord, May we never be deceived into thinking that
life is better on our side of the door than on Yours!
Revelation 3:20-21
“Behold I stand at the door and knock.
If anyone hears My voice and opens the door,
I will come into him, and dine with him,
and he with Me.
To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me
on My throne…”
